To welding both side of endwall, the welding positioner is used with welding synchronized driven system. To find welding position, welding robot has arc sensing and tactile nozzle sensor.

SHELL structure have large frame with plate. It needs to cover wide and longitude welding component. To cover all position of welding, the gantry type’s welding machine is required. This welding machine have 6 axis robot arm with welding torch. This unit is placed on floor mounted track at both side. This welding gantry have X,Z axis of movement type of rack and pinion. It is controlled servo control to approach on the exact welding position. And By laser tracking camera, the welding robot can compensate wide gap through weaving torch with Mig wire feeding as per material condition.
